Aglatech14: Condolences for the Passing of the CEO and Founder

The Company extends heartfelt condolences to the Grassi family for the tremendous loss of Giacomo, CEO and founder.

Giacomo Grassi, CEO and founder of Aglatech14, sadly passed away today, leaving behind an enduring legacy among those who had the privilege of knowing and collaborating with him.

Having entered the language industry 10 years ago, Giacomo took over the company alongside his daughter Alessandra, demonstrating his ambitious and tireless entrepreneurial spirit. His openness to technology, coupled with a vision of the future where humanity would always be at the forefront, led him to invest in the research and technological development of the company and to value his collaborators.

To Aglatech14 Giacomo brought his long international experience, gained within big names in the optical industry such as Coopervision Inc and Mark’ennovy. In the former he served as Managing Director of Southern Europe and in the latter as Vice President of Marketing and Sales, achieving significant goals in terms of growth and acquisitions. He has also held important positions in the association world, such as president of Assottica.

His family fondly recalls him with these words: “Giacomo was always a person with a generous heart. He infused passion into everything he did, and his first thought was always for people’s wellbeing. Those people who, even after many years, remember him for his enthusiasm and his kindness, always ready to welcome and help.”
