This year we chose to give you a different kind of gift for Christmas: an embodiment practice designed for those who spend many hours in front of a screen.
Embodiment: reconnecting body and mind through movement
Embodiment is an approach that helps you reconnect with yourself through the body. It is not about fitness or physical performance, but about presence: learning to feel what is happening within, recognizing tension, releasing blockages, and regaining mental clarity through conscious movement.
At work, especially when we spend hours in front of a screen, we tend to “disconnect” from the body. The mind races, the body stays still, and stress builds up without us even realizing it. Embodiment brings us back to listening; it reminds us that body and mind are one.
This special video for you was created by Valeria Chiara Puppo, Embodiment facilitator, mentor, and movement teacher for personal evolution. She supports individuals and groups in finding a new balance between body and mind, bringing practical tools into contexts where this balance is at risk of being lost.
A mini-practice to carry with you every day
The session we prepared is short and effective: just a few minutes at your workstation, sitting on your chair, with your eyes closed and in listening mode. Valeria’s voice will guide you through simple movements and conscious breathing, helping you release accumulated tension.
You can use it in the morning as soon as you turn on your computer, in the afternoon when your energy drops and your mind feels foggy, or before an important meeting to regain focus and calm.
No experience is required, and no special tools are needed. All it takes is the willingness to pause, even for just a few minutes, and listen to yourself. It’s a practice you can return to whenever you feel the need.
Why this gift?
At Aglatech14, we believe that well-being grows from individual awareness and organizational support. Work-related stress emerges when job demands exceed a person’s resources and recovery capacity. But today we know it’s not just about workload: it’s also about the quality of professional relationships, organizational clarity, opportunities for growth, and the feeling of being heard and involved.
It’s not only about how much we ask of people, but about how we create the conditions for them to bring value to their work: by offering a vision for the future, clearly defined roles, opportunities to contribute ideas, and genuine recognition of everyday challenges.
The challenge of hybrid work
Remote work has added a new variable: not just work stress, but stress from a lack of boundaries. Home and work blend together, overlapping without clear breaks. A phone call during a break, a load of laundry between one meeting and the next, a workout squeezed into the lunch break to fit around family commitments.
The real challenge is no longer “Where do I work?” but “When do I stop working?” and “How do I protect my mental space?” This is where the company’s role becomes crucial.
Our approach
At Aglatech14, we see wellbeing as the sum of individual awareness, organizational support, and the opportunity to grow together. The workplace may be the same every day, but we believe that part of wellbeing comes from learning how to inhabit our spaces (mental ones included) in new ways: transforming them, adapting them to our own rhythm, and listening to what body and mind need.
Listening to yourself is essential. It’s a personal commitment, but also a corporate one. That’s why we are investing in tools and initiatives that help people access this awareness and manage their working days in a healthier way.
We believe the starting point is individual transformation: when people feel well, any space can become a better place to work. This video is our way of supporting people on this journey.
And now, enjoy the practice!
We wish you a peaceful holiday season and hope you find the time to truly rest.
Take this small practice with you into the new year: every gesture of self-listening is a step toward a healthier, more sustainable, and more human way of working.
✨ Happy holidays from the entire Aglatech14 team ✨
