Translation is not just about transferring words from one language to another. It’s about building bridges between cultures, markets, and opportunities.
This is the philosophy that drives the work of Aglatech14 every single day, and which we had the pleasure of sharing on Radio Story Time, the platform that gives voice to Italian excellence.
Representing us in the studio were Anna Puleo, Managing Director, and Paola Caminiti, Sales Manager, who shared the story of our journey spanning more than twenty years in the professional translation industry. They spoke about the key milestones we’ve reached and the exciting new chapter ahead: our international expansion, starting with the opening of a new branch in Germany.
More Than an Agency: A Strategic Partner
With over twenty years of experience in the translation industry, we’ve learned that every detail matters, especially when working in highly complex and regulated sectors such as patents, legal, medical-scientific, financial, and industrial fields.
That’s why our approach prioritizes precision and quality, always driven by a passion for what we do. Every project is handled by expert project managers, certified reviewers, and carefully selected native-language linguists.
For us, technology is a tool that streamlines and supports our work, but it never replaces people.
Our New Branch in Germany
2025 marks a special milestone in the history of Aglatech14: the year we opened our new branch in Rheinbach, near Bonn: our first major step towards international expansion.
Germany was not a random choice. It’s a market we know well, where we already serve a significant number of clients. It’s rich in industrial and tech companies that, like us, pay close attention to detail. Moreover, it’s the beating heart of the European patent sector, with Munich hosting the headquarters of the EPO (European Patent Office).
“This opening represents the natural evolution of our international DNA,” says Paola. “It’s also the realization of an idea our founder, Dr. Giacomo Grassi, had over twenty years ago.”
This achievement is dedicated to him, a visionary pioneer who always believed in the power of words to cross borders.
Linguistic Inclusion and Beyond
To make our video interview accessible to as many people as possible, whether they speak another language or have specific visual or hearing needs, we added subtitles.
It’s not a minor detail, but a tangible example of our commitment to inclusivity.
Subtitles are no longer optional. They represent accessibility for all and openness to global markets. They are an art form requiring specific skills, skills we now offer our clients. It’s not just about translation; it’s about adapting timing, layout, and linguistic tone. This, too, is part of what Aglatech14 does.
Where We’re Headed
The interview on Radio Story Time was an opportunity to share our story, reflect on what we’ve learned over the years, and outline our vision for the future.
Every day, we work on complex documents that become concrete tools for companies going international. It’s a job that requires technical expertise and a deep understanding of the complex processes involved.
Now that we’ve embarked on our own international journey, we’re better equipped to support businesses taking this step, helping them access the global market and overcome territorial and language barriers.
