Aglatech14 on the Path to PdR 125 Certification: A Journey of Listening
Listening comes first. That is where Aglatech14’s journey toward Gender Equality Certification (UNI/PdR 125:2022) began.
From this process of listening came four interviews in which Aglatech14 employees share their experiences openly and honestly. They talk about stereotypes and biases that many of us recognize, sometimes without even realizing it, and about the changes they would like to see in the name of gender equality.
Which Gender Stereotype Should We Leave Behind?
The conversation begins with a simple, yet thought-provoking, question.
Opening the discussion are Sara Russo and Luca Monfardini, two members of Aglatech14 who speak candidly about their experiences, opinions, and different perspectives.
The first episode of our journey toward PdR 125 Certification starts with them.
Which gender stereotype do we identify with, or find ourselves falling into, most often?
In this episode, Cristiano Calzolari and Gloria Gallinaro share the stereotypes they sometimes stumble into, often without even realizing it. From the myth that women are bad drivers to the expectation that women should always be the ones taking care of others, these stereotypes may seem like a thing of the past, but they’re often much closer than we think.
Which prejudices, beyond gender, is it time to leave behind?
The third episode of our series starts with a simple but important question. Edoardo Latini and Nicole Colombo share their personal experiences, perspectives, and different points of view, opening up an honest conversation.
We made it!
The fourth and final episode of our journey marks an important milestone: on July 17th, we achieved PdR 125 Certification for gender equality, with the highest possible score. Federica Morra, HR Manager at Aglatech14, tells us about this result, retracing a path that began two years ago and looking ahead to what comes next.
